The new Birdie is the smallest and lightest battery-powered riveting tool in its performance class. With only 900g (without battery), the riveting tool is so light that you can work for a long time without getting tired and in the greatest comfort. The balanced center of gravity and the comfortable handles provide additional support for the user. In addition, the device covers a large working area: With a setting force of 10 kN and a device stroke of 25 mm, blind rivets up to a diameter of 5 mm of all materials can be processed. In addition, the 100% ball-bearing components in the drive unit and the wear-free BLDC motor ensure extremely fast and precise setting processes. Other practical features of the Birdie are the integrated light ring, which brings the light precisely to the mouthpiece and the riveting point and thus enables riveting even in difficult lighting conditions. The non-slip stand of the Birdie ensures that you can put the device down without it falling over. With the help of a carabiner, the riveting tool can be hung on a balancer in order to have your hands free when working. Thanks to the recuperation, the Birdie can work with great endurance, because every energy is used – any braking energy is fed into the battery and is available for further riveting processes. If the battery is empty, the controller reports the need for charging both acoustically and visually. With the Birdie, cleaning and replacing the chuck jaws as well as changing the mouthpiece can be done easily and completely without tools. Color-coded mouthpieces make it particularly easy to identify the blind rivet used. In order to ensure the greatest possible freedom and to conserve resources, the Birdie was embedded in the manufacturer-independent battery network CAS. With the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), tools from a wide range of application areas can be easily combined with one another thanks to standardized batteries and chargers.
